With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, working with some of the UK’s most dynamic lifestyle brands, Paul brings a fresh and innovative perspective to early years education. Having recently taken the reins of the family business, Paul combines his background in customer service, operational management, and team leadership with a passion for creating a nurturing, inspiring environment for young children.

Paul’s approach is grounded in his commitment to quality, community, and exceptional care—values that he has carried from the hospitality world into the world of early education. He believes that each child’s experience should be filled with wonder, curiosity, and joy, and he works closely with staff to ensure they have the tools and support needed to bring this vision to life. Under Paul’s leadership, our nursery is not only a place of learning but a supportive community where children can thrive and families feel truly valued.

With ten years of experience in childcare, Lizzie is a highly skilled and dedicated early years professional. As Assistant Manager, she continues to bring her expertise, leadership, and passion for early childhood education to the forefront.

Holding an SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7, Lizzie has a strong foundation in child development, safeguarding, and curriculum planning. Her extensive hands-on experience, combined with a deep commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment, ensures that every child receives the highest standard of care and education.

Lizzie is a natural leader, supporting both children and colleagues with her warm, approachable, and professional manner. She is dedicated to mentoring and guiding staff, helping to create a positive and collaborative team culture where best practices are upheld, and continuous improvement is encouraged.

With a keen eye for innovation and a passion for high-quality early learning experiences, Lizzie plays a vital role in shaping the nursery’s vision and maintaining excellence in care and education. She strives to build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community, ensuring a welcoming and supportive setting for all.

We are delighted to welcome Emily to Cherry Blossom Nursery School as our Senior Nursery Leader.

Emily brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for early childhood education. She has developed a strong foundation in creating nurturing and engaging environments where children can thrive. 

Emily is committed to supporting each child’s unique developmental journey and places a strong emphasis on learning through play, exploration, and creativity.

Emily has completed a variety of professional development courses, including training in Child Protection, First Aid, Pre-Birth to Three, and Risk in Play. Her dedication to continuous learning ensures she stays up to date with best practices in early years education.

Shima Gharedaghi is a dedicated Early Years Practitioner who recently earned a well-deserved promotion to Room Leader of our 0-2 room. Since joining our team in August 2024, Shima has demonstrated a deep commitment to providing high-quality care and education for our youngest learners.

With a nurturing approach and strong understanding of early childhood development, Shima creates a warm, secure, and stimulating environment tailored to the needs of the child. Her ability to foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues has made her an invaluable member of our team.

As Room Leader, Shima is passionate about child-led learning and works closely with parents to support each child's individual development.

Shima’s leadership, dedication, and enthusiasm continue to have a positive impact on both her team and the children in her care, making her an essential part of our nursery community.

Jenny has been an integral part of our team, demonstrating a deep passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to the development and well-being of young children. With 20 years of experience in childcare, she has consistently shown her ability to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. In her new role as Room Leader for the 2-3 Room, Jenny will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the room, ensuring a well-structured environment that supports children's learning and development. 

Jenny's creativity, enthusiasm, and understanding of child development make her a fantastic fit for this role. She has a natural ability to connect with children, encouraging their curiosity and supporting their growth through meaningful interactions and play-based learning.

Becky has been a valued member of our team, consistently demonstrating a strong passion for early childhood education and a dedication to preparing children for their next steps in learning. With Becky's experience in childcare, she has shown exceptional skills in fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence in young learners.

In her new role as Room Leader for the Pre-School Room, Becky will be responsible for overseeing the daily management of the Pre-School room, ensuring a stimulating and structured learning environment. 

Becky’s enthusiasm, patience, and ability to create a positive and engaging atmosphere make her an excellent fit for this role. Her leadership will ensure that children in the Pre-School room receive the best possible foundation for their future education.
